Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor was spotted interacting with fans and posing for selfies after wrapping up a day’s work on director Nitesh Tiwari‘s highly-anticipated epic ‘Ramayan‘.
The actor, dressed in a cap and sweatshirt, took time out after completing the day’s shoot to greet some lucky fans who had gathered near the set. Kapoor was all smiles as he clicked pictures, with a lucky girl and also made a crew member’s day by posing with him for a selfie.
The actor has been filming for ‘Ramayan’, an epic film that has generated significant buzz due to its star-studded cast and grand production.Ranbir is reportedly playing the role of Lord Ram in the mythological drama, which also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita and actor Yash as Ravana. Fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates on the project, that went on floors early this year.

The film which is a retelling of the classic Indian epic, has been in production for some time and is expected to be one of the biggest films of the year. It is also rumoured to be one of the most expensive films made in India with a budget that “is close to Rs 835 crore”.

ETimes broke the news last month that the shooting for the first part of the film has already been completed. Our source states, “The first part of the film is now complete, with probably some patchwork pending and VFX work has begun.”

The first part of the film will focus on the early life of Lord Ram and Sita, chronicling their childhood, their eventual marriage, and the 14-year exile that led to the war against Raavan.

The makers are expected to kick start the shooting for the second part soon and are scheduled to complete it by December 2025.
