“For BTS, things are different…”
Actress Seo Hyun Jin issued a dramatic apology for the fandom of K-pop sensation BTS.
The young actress has recently appeared in a YouTube video together with actor Gong Yoo, who were engaged in a musical quiz. The two should guess the songs as well as identify the artists upon listening to the short snippet played by the staff.
These actors worked well together as an ensemble and could identify songs by TVXQ and Super Junior but couldn’t remember “Fantastic Baby” which, ironically, Seo Hyun Jin already knew the artist behind was BIGBANG.
For the final song of the challenge, the short snippet played was so brief that even the actors complained it was too short to recognize the song. The staff let them play it a bit longer, and Gong Yoo got all worked up because he recognized the familiar tune but couldn’t remember further particulars.
The staff then played that song up till chorus and as a sort of teaser told,“If you don’t know them, it’s a little…” and immediately guessed Gong Yoo that it’s BTS.
Seo Hyun Jin was left flustered because she could not guess the song title properly, and grilled Gong Yoo for putting her in a difficult situation.
As the production crew counted from five down to one, Seo hilariously sank on to the floor, bowing apologetically. “I’m sorry, ARMY,” she said, adding,“I know a lot of their songs. I listened to them a lot.” With this dramatic reaction, the whole room was able to burst into a hearty laugh.
When they finally came out with the title to be “DNA,” both Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin meekly admitted that they had no idea what the title was.
Seo apologised to ARMYs for failing to notice the song, and then Gong Yoo calmed her down by saying, it doesn’t matter.
