Shah Rukh Khan shares a special bond with his youngest child, AbRam Khan, which is evident in their public appearances and on social media. The actor recently mentioned that he is focused on getting AbRam to appreciate his work, as simply knowing that his dad is a star isn’t enough.
The superstar recently attended the Global Freight Summit in Dubai, where he was asked about his methods for staying focused and motivated. The superstar responded by emphasizing that one’s focus should be on their “core competence,” highlighting the importance of concentrating on what they do best.
Shah Rukh also shared that his core competence is acting, and he has been working to improve his skills in it. He mentioned that while focus may shift, it is important to find a new focal point within that focus, but the core competence should always remain the same.
King Khan revealed that his initial focus was on earning a livelihood through acting. After gaining some success, his focus shifted towards innovation and exploring new things, but he emphasized that his core competence has always remained acting.
SRK further shared that his current focus is to ensure his youngest child, AbRam, sees him as a ‘big enough star.’ He mentioned that AbRam hasn’t watched many of his films yet and expressed that he wants his son to truly experience his stardom, rather than just knowing about it.
Khan explained that he now needs to focus on his acting in a way that captures his son, AbRam, as an audience. He added that since AbRam is eleven, capturing his attention also means connecting with the younger generation.
Shah Rukh Khan is set to begin shooting for his upcoming film King in January 2025 in Mumbai. The action thriller features Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie will be produced by Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand.
