In a recent chat, the actress opened up about being on the sets with Deepika Padukone and feeling star struck by her presence.
While chatting with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra, Sharvari the filming of ‘Deewani Mastani‘ song, wherein she was assigned the task of opening a door at the precise moment Deepika’s character entered, “There was an entry shot where Deepika is walking straight ahead and two doors just glide open for her so I was standing by one of the doors and I was waiting for instructions on the walkie. We had to match the timing because she had to look up, the doors had to open at the exact moment. So she wanted to tell us the moment she will look up and start walking.”

The numerous takes were all exceptional, each one surpassing the last. I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the monitor. I knew I might get reprimanded for being distracted, but I was mesmerized. Even without any dialogue, she managed to captivate the scene by simply looking down.”
Sharavari also recalled her first ever interaction with Deepika and shared, “She didn’t say ‘excuse me, listen to me’. She said, ‘What is you name?’ And I said, ‘My name is Sharvari.’ So she said ‘okay, Sharvari…’ and I went home and I was like ‘Deepika Padukone ne mera naam pucha (asked my name).’ It was a big deal to even be on that set with these actors.”
