Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan are often considered rivals by the onlookers. They have always been pitted against each other, however, the truth is something else.
National award-winning playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has recently opened up about her rapport with her colleague Sunidhi. In an interview with Hindustan Times, when asked about how it impacted her since she and Sunidhi have been pitted against each other since the beginning, Shreya said that they are in fact ‘besties’.
Shreya Ghoshal stated that people somehow derive pleasure from painting an image about women artistes competing as if they are in some kind of battlefield. “Sorry to disappoint everyone but Sunidhi and I are besties,” she said. She also revealed that they hangout very often, and in fact they always look for excuses to spend time together. Shreya further added that other than music they also bond over the fact that they are mothers to boy child. She also revealed that during her pregnancy she reached out to Sunidhi for almost every thing.
Meanwhile, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan are teaming up for an independent number titled ‘Chhaila’, that too for the first time. The songs are composed by the Salim-Sulaiman duo for the latter’s independent music initiative Bhoomi 2024.

On the other hand, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan has previously collaborated on songs like ‘Imaan Ka Asar (Dor; 2006)’ and ‘Hum To Aise Hain Bhaiya (Laaga Chunari Mein Daag; 2007)’ among others. Their upcoming collaboration is highly anticipated.
