As Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Zaheer Iqbal in an intimate ceremony as the Special Marriage Act, she had her parents by her side. One saw Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha also performing the kanyadaan ritual. However, one did not see Sonakshi’s brother Luv and Kush at her wedding. Luv had told a news portal that he needs more time before he speaks on this matter.However, he took to his social media and slammed report of him not attending the wedding.
Now post Luv’s Instagram story, Kush Sinha has confirmed that he was very much there at the wedding. He told News18, that it’s a very sensitive time for their family. He added, “I have already seen people publishing inaccurate information. It started with an article in a leading portal that had a quote by an unnamed source. I am not sure who’s doing all this right now and where it’s coming from. But a few houses have my images [from the night].”
He further clarified, “It’s just that I am a private individual and I am not seen that much but that doesn’t mean that I wasn’t there. I was present and I have only good wishes for my sister and will always wish her well”
Sonakshi and Zaheer had a registered wedding at their new house in Bandra. Meanwhile, their reception party was attended by many celebs – from Anil Kapoor, Rekha, Saira Banu, Tabu to Sonakshi’s ‘Heeramandi’ co-stars.
