SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2024: Objection window extended till Oct 8, direct link here – Times of India


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced an extension for submitting objections to the provisional answer key for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2024 Tier 1. Candidates can now submit their objections through the official website, ssc.gov.in, until October 8. This decision was made due to the high volume of traffic affecting the server.
According to the official notification, “It has been observed that due to heavy load on the server, the response time of the system is slightly longer.It has accordingly been decided to extend the last date up to which the facility will be live from 06.10.2024 (06:00 PM) to 08.10.2024 (06:00 PM). All other terms and conditions mentioned in the Notice dated 03.10.2024 remain the same.”
Previously, the deadline for raising objections was set for October 6.

How to Raise Objections Against the SSC CGL Answer Key 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the login tab and enter your credentials.
Step 3: Navigate to the “My Applications” section and select the answer key challenge option.
Step 4: Raise your challenge by choosing the question ID and uploading any necessary documents.
Step 5: Complete the payment. Review your challenge and click submit.

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to review their answers and file objections before the final results are released. A fee of Rs 100 per question is required to submit challenges.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam took place from September 9 to 26. The question paper comprised four sections, each with 25 questions, totaling 50 marks. For each correct answer, candidates will receive two marks, while 0.50 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
