HYDERABAD: In a bid to foster innovation and development in the state’s life sciences ecosystem, Telangana govt has joined hands with the Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE) to boost life sciences training and professional certification in the state. The collaboration is aimed at fostering innovation and development in Telangana’s life sciences ecosystem.
The partnership will see the launch of India’s top life sciences executive programmes from Hyderabad, featuring collaborative training initiatives, professional certification courses, and tailored on-site training programmes, Telangana government said on Friday.
The courses will focus on regulatory affairs, FDA compliance and CAPA strategies, technical writing & document management, statistical applications, among others.
Telangana govt said the initiative aligns with its vision of creating a life sciences education and training hub in Hyderabad as well as promoting excellence in research, development, and innovation.
The announcement was made after Telangana industries minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu met CfPIE CEO & principal Mark Mazzie and CfPIE director of operations Nathan Krawczyk in New York as part of his US visit aimed at wooing investments to the state.
The minister and CfPIE top brass discussed opportunities and global practices with the objective of developing Telangana into an unmatched global talent destination.
Sridhar Babu said the collaboration will bring world-class life sciences training and professional certification programmes to Telangana.
“This collaboration is a step towards our goal of making Hyderabad a global hub for life sciences education and innovation. The government will take up more such initiatives to enhance the skilling capabilities, generate a new industry-eady workforce, and elevate the skills of the existing workforce, thereby helping companies move up the value chain,” the minister said.
CfPIE has, over 23 years, provided training to over 32,000 professionals across 1,000 companies globally in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device markets. CfPIE also helps regulatory agencies, including the USFDA and EMA, improve their performance in key areas such as regulatory policy, product development, compliance, and go-to-market strategies.
