JAMMU: Police in Jammu’s Udhampur district have detained a terror associate, Abdul Satar, under the Public Safety Act (PSA). He was working as an active guide/facilitator for terrorist organisations and has several cases registered against him, police said.
Satar’s detention came hours after 10 terror associates and over ground workers were arrested in Kathua district of J&K during a massive crackdown by police and CRPF personnel at 17 locations in the district.
Jammu division police have intensified crackdowns on terror networks linked to JeM and LeT, with over 56 raids conducted in various districts, including Rajouri, Poonch, Udhampur, Kathua and Reasi, and several suspects arrested on Nov 26.
