Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT crosses 11 crore mark from its morning shows in India | Hindi Movie News – Times of India



The expectations from Thalapathy Vijay’s second last film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) are sky high, and going by the morning shows in India, the film is poised to take a fantastic start across the globe. In India, the shows began as early as 4 am, and fans have been going crazy about the film.

The film, which is inspired by the Moscow Metro Bombing has minted about Rs 11.35 crore from its morning shows.With its advance booking, the film has already sold tickets worth Rs 24.5 crore and going by the buzz, the film is expected to go beyond Rs 50 crore day 1 collection. Even in North America which has been dominated by Telugu films in recent year, Vijay’s film has taken a fantastic start for morning shows, minting over US $755,000( Rs 6.34 crore). Vijay already holds the record for highest day 1 collection for Leo: Bloody Sweet, minting over Rs 140 crore, however, GOAT seems unlikely to cross that benchmark.
While in India, the film was released in Hindi ,Tamil and Telugu, while in North America, it was released only in Tamil and Telugu. In the last one houras per Bookmyshow, GOAT has sold over 30000 tickets.
The Greatest of All Time features a star-studded cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
