Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their baby girl Raha in November 2022. The first picture that Alia shared on Instagram after becoming a mother was a heartwarming image of herself holding a mug with the word ‘mama’ written on.
In the picture, Alia appeared slightly out of focus in the background, as she highlighted the mug in her hand.Along with the photo, she wrote in the caption, “It me,” and added a yellow heart emoji, expressing her joy and pride in her new role as a mother.
As soon as Alia had shared the picture, her fans and followers showered her with love and congratulatory messages. Alia’s post had also received love from her industry friends, including designer Manish Malhotra, director Zoya Akhtar, actress Aditi Rao Hydari, and actor Tiger Shroff, who shared their happiness for the new mother in the comments section.

In a joint statement released shortly after Raha’s birth, Alia and Ranbir had expressed their joy, saying, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia.”
Since then, Raha has made a few public appearances, with Alia and Ranbir sharing glimpses of their daughter on special occasions as she is netizens favourite.
Alia Bhatt has been vocal about the joys and challenges of parenthood, recently stating that seeing her daughter Raha’s personality unfold day by day is the most exciting part. She expressed surprise at Raha’s ability to identify animals and repeat words like a grown-up, finding it exciting as the little one develops into a person.
