‘Trying to destabilize nation … ‘ Kangana Ranaut calls Rahul Gandhi ‘most dangerous man’ | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: BJP leader Kangana Ranaut launched a bitter attack on Rahul Gandhi as the market on Monday morning shrugged off the fresh Hindenburg Report against the Sebi chief.
The Mandi MP tore into the Gandhi scion for “endorsing” the US-based short-seller report and accused him of “destabilising” the nation‘s security and economy.
Calling Rahul Gandhi “bitter, poisonous and destructive“, Kangana said the nation will never accept him as its leader.
“Rahul Gandhi is the most dangerous man, he is bitter, poisonous and destructive, his agenda is that if he can’t be the Prime Minister then he might as well destroy this nation. Hindenberg report targeting our stock market that Rahul Gandhi was endorsing last night has turned out to be a damp squib,” Kangana wrote on X.
The actress-turned-politician further wrote: “He is trying everything to destabilise this nation its security and economy. Mr Gandhi get ready to sit in the opposition all your life and the way you suffering get ready to suffer the glory, the growth and the nationalism of the people of this nation. They will never make you their leader. You are a disgrace”.
Kangana is not the only BJP leader who objected to Rahul highlighting the Hindenburg report to corner the government. Nalin Kohli, who is BJP’s spokesperson, also attacked the ex-Congress chief asking if Rahul had to “support” the Hindenburg report.
“This is very worrying. An international company, is coming up with reports. SC did not find facts in the report, they had set it aside. Now it is happening again, at a time when the Parliament session is ongoing. Congress and other parties are riding on it. We need to think whether international forces are attacking the Indian democracy and economy? We need to investigate. Rahul Gandhi is the LoP, does he have to support it? We need to introspect and work together to save the country,” said BJP leader Nalin Kohli to news agency PTI.
Rahul Gandhi’s concern
On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi raised concerns about Sebi’s operations in light of recent allegations against its chairperson Madhabi Buch by Hindenburg Research.
The allegations, made by the US short-seller, claim that Buch and her husband have stakes in offshore funds used in a purported Adani money-siphoning scandal.
Gandhi questioned whether the Supreme Court would take a suo motu interest in this matter.
Sebi chief issues clarification
Meanwhile, Sebi chief Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband Dhaval Buch on Sunday rejected the claims of the fresh Hindenburg Research report alleging that the market regulator body chairperson had stakes in “obscure offshore entities used in Adani money siphoning scandal”.
Issuing a point-by-point rebuttal, Madhabi Buch and her husband trashed allegations of impropriety levelled by Hindenburg and hit out at the US-based short-seller for “attacking” Sebi’s credibility and for attempted character assassination of the regulatory body’s chief, while not responding to a notice issued by the market watchdog.
