NEW DELHI: India’s star batsman Virat Kohli was noticeably irritated when a fan addressed him as “Chokli” while he was practicing with his teammates in a room in Sri Lanka.
As Virat was engrossed in his practice session, the fan began shouting “Chokli-Chokli,” which caught his attention. He immediately turned to face the fan, displaying a displeased expression.
Virat landed in Sri Lanka on Monday morning for the three-match ODI series against the host nation.
Due to rain in Colombo, the initial practice session was called off. Nevertheless, Virat participated in his first net session since the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.
