Vivek Oberoi and his wife Priyanka Alva, who tied the knot in 2010 and are proud parents of two children, have been married for over 14 years. Recently, Vivek revealed the only thing they both fight over.
In an interview with IndiaTV, Vivek Oberoi shared that he and his wife, Priyanka Alva, often argue over time. He explained that, while he considers himself fortunate to have such a wonderful wife, their disagreements stem from her desire for his time and attention rather than material things like diamonds, bags, or cars.Priyanka values spending quality time with their children and family.
Vivek admitted to being a workaholic, constantly balancing multiple commitments, but his perfectionism drives him to give his best in everything he does. He also remarked that if a wife is fighting for her husband’s time, it’s a sign that the husband is truly lucky.
The ‘Dum’ actor also revealed how he reconciles with his wife after their arguments. He shared that when Priyanka is upset, he wakes up earlier than her and prepares her favourite filter coffee, a gesture he has perfected. Being a South Indian, she loves her coffee, so Vivek serves it on a decorated tray with soft music playing in the background. Although she initially says she’s still upset after the first sip, by the time she finishes her coffee, her anger fades away.
In the same interview, Vivek reflected on his past relationships, stating that he had very few serious girlfriends. He explained that during his college years, he was focused on his studies and business ventures, including investing in the stock market, which left him with little time for a serious relationship. He also mentioned that his reluctance to commit was influenced by the tragic loss of his childhood sweetheart to cancer.
On the work front, Vivek was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s web show Indian Police Force along with Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and others.
