Shah was addressing a press conference where he was sharing the success story of the 100 days of Modi 3.0 when he was asked why the chief minister of the violence-torn state was still on the post.Shah retorted saying that “you can ask questions but don’t argue.”

On being asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi would consider visiting the ethnic violence-torn state given his 74th birthday, something which has always been the topic of attack by the opposition, Shah told the media person that if there would be any such decision, “you would get know.”
The Union home minister took credit for bringing “political stability” for the “first time in 60 years.”
“For the first time after 60 years, there is an atmosphere of political stability in the country and we have also experienced continuity of policies. It is very difficult to enter the 11th year by maintaining the direction of policies, speed of policies and accuracy of implementation of policies for 10 years,” he said.
He also said that the government is planning to implement One Nation One Election within the tenure.
Shah also talked about controversial Waqf bill saying, “Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 is committed to the management, preservation and misuse of Waqf properties. It would be passed in the Parliament in the coming days.”
Talking about the agricultural sector, Shah said, “In the field of agriculture, Rs 20 thousand crore were distributed to 9.5 crore farmers in the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Yojana. So far, a total of Rs 3 lakh crore has been distributed to 12 crore 33 lakh farmers.”
