Youths attracted to our ideology, joining us in large numbers every year: RSS leader Sunil Ambekar | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Every year over one lakh youth are getting fascinated by “RSS ideology” and becoming a member through the ‘Join RSS‘ platform, says the national publicity head of RSS, Sunil Ambekar.
During a press briefing, Ambekar mentioned that by June of this year, 66,529 individuals had already joined the RSS. The meeting focused on the organization’s expansion and the upcoming celebrations for its centenary year.
The RSS aims to establish daily ‘shakhas’ (prayer rituals) in all mandals (groups of 8-10 villages) in rural areas by ‘Vijaya Dashami’ in 2025, coinciding with the organisation’s 100th anniversary. Additionally, modifications have been made to the structure and curriculum of RSS training classes starting from this year.
Addressing the issue of alleged religious conversions in Jharkhand, Ambekar emphasized that the use of unfair methods for such purposes is wrong and goes against the law. He stated that everyone should adhere to the law and that the RSS opposes such practices. Ambekar further added, “The society should be worried about this, and the Sangh will be moving forward with its vision for whatever needs to be done in this regard.”
Regarding the central government’s decision to declare June 25 as ‘Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas’ (Constitution Murder Day), Ambekar expressed that imposing the Emergency was wrong and should not occur in a democracy.
This day serves to honour those who endured hardships during the Emergency period. Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently announced the government’s decision to observe this day to commemorate the “massive contributions” of those who suffered during that time.
The three-day meeting in Ranchi was attended by top RSS leaders, including its chief Mohan Bhagwat, general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, national executive members, and all prant pracharaks.
These prant pracharaks are full-time workers responsible for overseeing the RSS‘s 46 organizational regions.
