The year 2024 is the ‘year of Diljit Dosanjh’. The singer-actor has gained international recognition thanks to his success, which includes the success of ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, making history in Vancouver with a sold-out stadium show at BC Place to a crowd of 54,000 people, making it the largest-ever Punjabi music concert outside of India. He recently made his debut on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.Even though Jimmy Fallon has referred to him as “the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet” and he enjoys international popularity, Diljit is still at his core a Punjabi boy who doesn’t forget his roots when performing for a global audience.
Following his traditional all-white ensemble at Coachella 2023 and several other performances at his ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour, Diljit won hearts once again with his all-white kurta and tehmat (Punjabi version of the lungi) during his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’. A user commented, “‘his style is lit”, while another netizen called him “G.O.A.T.”
The singer’s attire for the show featured a white embroidered half-sleeve kurta and a matching Tehmat. He paired the outfit with a matching white turban, silver hoop earrings, black-tinted aviators, a black vest, a kadha, white socks, and black-and-white high-ankle sneakers.

Diljit Dosanjh also wore a luxury watch for his performance on the show. According to Diet Sabya, the watch was custom-designed and the reports on the watch’s official page said, “I made this watch for Diljit Bhaji. It is an AP [Audemars Piguet] Royal Oak 41mm model encrusted with diamonds all over. Stainless steel and rose gold.” According to them, the watch costs approximately ₹1.2 crore.
Diljit has worn the luxurious accessory to many of his concerts, including the singer’s record-breaking Dil-Luminati Tour at the BC Place stadium in Vancouver, Canada. Diljit became the first Punjabi artist to perform at the venue and even sold out the show.
