He meets Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and falls head over heels for her. After a steamy romance, Manu finds out that Tanu has no plans to marry him, which breaks him down. However, Manu’s true love turned things around.
‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’
In the sequel of ‘Tanu Weds Manu,’ the story continues after the events of the first film. Years after being married, there comes trouble in Tanu and Manu’s paradise. The two start living separately and that is when Manu meets Tanu’s lookalike, Kusum and he gets reminded of his previous love. The plot turns when Tanu returns.
The 2008 film follows the story of a young small-town girl who realizes her interest in the glamorous supermodel world. However, she soon faces the hardships and the sacrifices it takes to be at the top of the industry. This Madhur Bhandarkar directorial showed the dark side of the glam world.
‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’
It is the story of great leader Rani Lakhshmibai who fought against the British to protect her land and her people in the rebellion of 1857. The film showcases the fighting spirit of the queen and also the sacrifices she made to end the British rule.
