The film ‘Indian 2‘ was released in theatres in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on July 12. The movie on day 1 earned Rs 25 crore at the box office and the film has been seeing a drastic reduction after that as it received a lot of negative reviews. Amidst the mixed reviews, the movie has managed to gross Rs 150 crore at the box office worldwide as it had no competition or any other major releases in theatres.On July 22, day 11 of the film release, it made Rs 1.25 crore at the box office.

The makers of the film have sold the digital rights to the international OTT platform and the movie is reportedly said to make its digital premiere on Netflix in August.
