The ‘Do Patti’ actress Kriti Sanon has recently touched on the most discussed topic of Nepotism in Bollywood by saying that talent is what matters to succeed.

While attending the 55th International Film Festival in Goa, Kriti Sanon said that the film industry is not responsible for nepotism, whereas it’s the audiences and the media that play a pivotal part in it.

Explaining further, she said that the audiences are willing to watch what the media is publishing about the star kids, and just because the audiences are interested in such, the industry steps on to make more movies with the so-called ‘star-kids’
Kriti said, “Because the audience is interested in them, the industry feels that since the audience is interested, let’s make a movie with them. So I think it’s a circle.”
The versatile actress also said that if one is talented, then he or she will be achieving success in the industry, and, “. If you’re not talented, and if the connection is not there with the audiences you will not get there.”
Explaining the struggles of an outsider who wishes to enter the film industry, Kriti Sanon said that it takes time for such actors to reach the goal they set. For them, even getting to magazine covers will take much time and everything feels like a bit of a struggle for the outsiders. Kriti added that if one keeps working hard even after 2 or three films, then nothing can stop them and will surely achieve success.
