Princess of Wales Kate Middleton to attend Wimbledon men’s final in London – Times of India

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is set to make an appearance at the Wimbledon Men’s final in London on Sunday, according to an announcement from Kensington Palace office.
Despite her ongoing recovery from a recent cancer diagnosis, the palace confirmed her attendance in a press release, saying, “The Princess of Wales, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will attend the Gentlemen’s Singles Final of The Championships, Wimbledon on Sunday 14th July.”
Since receiving the unexpected news of her cancer diagnosis earlier this year, the 42-year-old Princess has maintained a low profile while undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment. Her presence at the Wimbledon final marks a significant public appearance.
The previous year’s men’s final at Wimbledon saw the Princess and Prince William accompanied by their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, all dressed up for the occasion.
In a separate engagement, Prince William is scheduled to travel to Berlin for the Euro 2024 final, where England will face Spain. The palace has verified that he will be accompanied by Keir Starmer, Britain’s newly appointed prime minister. The men’s team will be striving to redeem themselves after their defeat against Italy in the final stage of the 2020 tournament.
