NEW DELHI: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, along with pomegranate farmers from Satara and Phaltan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the farmers presented pomegranates to the Prime Minister, highlighting their concerns and the challenges faced by the pomegranate farming community.
Sharad Pawar pointed out that the discussion focused solely on the issues affecting farmers, particularly the difficulties faced by pomegranate cultivators.
NCP (SCP) chief also clarified that no political matters were discussed in his interaction with PM Modi.
